We are searching for our main location for Peekaboo.
We are looking for a house for most of our action in Peekaboo. If anyone can help us to find the right house, we would be most grateful. Here is what we're looking for:
A medium sized semi detached house, not too run down and not too prestine. Preferably with unkempt gardens however small, nothing much in bloom, a bit barren looking. The street fairly quiet. Other things that are important is that there is a view from the kitchen windown into a neighbours garden, where you could see their washing line. We need: living room, kitchen, one bedroom and a bathroom, and a hall/stairway. We need either unfurnished or sparsely furnished.
We can decorate a little if you don't mind, if it will improve it, and anything can be put back to how it was before after we have finished.
We might need to use more than one house, some rooms in one, garden in another etc, so if you have some but not all of these requirements, please do still get in touch.
The house needs to be in, or very close to Sheffield. We will be shooting mid March, but would need time to get the house ready and to put it back to how it was again afterwards, so would need for around two weeks. A house that is up for sale, or rent and is empty would be ideal.
We will be fully insured during our shoot. We will be able to offer a fee for use of the house and will cover all bills used during that time.
Please contact us with any suggestions. Thank you.

Great news. We had our meeting at SANDS yesterday and after long discussions about Peekaboo, they have decided they can come on board and help us raise the rest of our money in their various groups and will be putting the info on their website next week. I'd like to say a massive thanks to all at SANDS, their help will be invaluable in raise the rest of our funding.
SANDS will also be helping us with our subsequent documentary about Stillbirth which will follow Peekaboo!
We also had our first mentoring session with Christine Hartland, Producer of Patchwork Productions. This was great, it was lovely to meet Christine and we look forward to our future sessions. The was our prize for winning Best Producer for Pussy at Underwire Film Festival, and the prize was sponsored by Women in Film and Television.

Tomorrow I'll be having two exciting meeting in London. One with Sands, the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Charity to see if they can support us witht the rest of the fund raising we need for Peekaboo - so fingers crossed for that!
Secondly, I'll be having my first meeting with Christine Hartland, or Patchwork Productions. Christine will be my Producing Mentor for the next few months, which is the prize I received for my award for Pussy at Underwire Film Festival a couple of months ago.
I'm very much looking forward to meeting Christine and to learning from her expertise to increase my knowledge of producing and making even better films in the future!
