A feature film Debbie Howard and Dominique Lutier

Taking steps is easy. Standing still is hard.

Waiting is a quirky, character driven narrative about unlikely friendships, appreciating the small things in life and making the ordinary extraordinary.

When the mysterious Claire arrives waiting on the street for seemingly no reason, she attracts the attention of Tariq, a ten year old boy, desperate for love and affection. In turn this intrigues Cal, the aloof owner of the Dream Bean coffee bar across the road. In time, an unconventional friendship triangle evolves between the three of them, each bringing something special to each other’s lives and those in their community. Waiting is a heart warming tale full of love and beauty. With a sprinkling of magic.

The script is currently at first draft stage and we hope to go into production in 2018.
